How cool is this??? Another great reason to look forward to 2010 as 2009 is coming to an end!

The first official Iron Man 2 movie poster has debuted on Yahoo! and it comes to no surprise that the sequel will highlight the rise of Iron Man’s sidekick, War Machine. The poster features the new Iron Man suit and of course War Machine with his ever present big guns.

Jon Favreau, the cameo appearing director of the film, has also hinted that the first teaser trailer for the movie will be shown in front of another Robert Downey, Jr. film, Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes.

On a recent phone interview with MTV Multiplayer, Spider Man and Evil Dead director Sam Raimi has revealed that the upcoming Warcraft movie will not be based on Christie Golden’s novel – Arthas: Rise of the Lich King.  The movie, according to the director, will be an “original effort” based on the Warcraft Universe.

“We would choose… something that encompasses lands and characters and storylines, and we would be true to it,” he said. “But our story may or may not be about one of those central characters.”

Screenwriter Robert Rodat, who wrote Saving Private Ryan and The Patriot (two highly successfult films), has been signed on to write up the story. Although Rodat’s previous works weren’t of the fantasy-based genre, Raimi appeared confident that the guy who revised the 2008 movie 10,000 BC will do justice to the Alliance, the Horde and the overall essence of the Warcraft franchise.
